I am a passionate and dedicated trade economist, international trade consultant, researcher, and speaker, wholeheartedly committed towards making the world of global trade, export policies, and trade finance more accessible and understandable for businesses, policymakers, and from all backgrounds. In my current role, I have the privilege of serving as a leader with the Women in International Trade Business Council (WIITBC) at the International Trade Council (ITC). In this capacity, I actively advocate for inclusive trade policies and strive to promote global trade education, ensuring that diverse voices are heard in the trade conversation. 

 

Alongside this rewarding volunteer work, I am also a full-time researcher at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), where my research is primarily focused on foreign trade polciy, pertaining tothe agriculture sector. My work delves into critical topics such as India’s agricultural export policies, trade restrictions, price volatility, and the intricate dynamics of global supply chains. 

 

With more than a decade of experience in the banking sector, I have developed a specialisation in trade finance, foreign exchange, and innovative digital trade solutions. My extensive expertise includes cross-border payments, export finance, risk management, and navigating the complexities of WTO trade policies. With a solid foundation in FinTech and Digital Trade Finance, complemented by esteemed certifications from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), 

 

I am uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between traditional trade finance practices and modern, forward-thinking financial. As an enthusiastic speaker and educator, I am deeply dedicated to empowering businesses and professionals with comprehensive knowledge in areas such as trade finance, export-import operations, and international economic policies. My research contributions have been recognised and featured in leading journals, policy platforms, and industry magazines, further underscoring my commitment to thought leadership in a vital field.
